Default Advice on upgrading.

Hey everyone i posted earlier about what would be good for be to purchase in the future, (new computer being built)
but then i thought, would i just be able to upgrade the one im on right now, to see weather it would turn out a bit cheaper.

Would it be easier to just make a brand new system, or upgrading parts in this?


(Trust me, This thing aint state of the art)

Default Advice on upgrading.

There is basically no upgrade path open to you with the core components you have, especially (and most importantly) the motherboard.

Any and all upgrades you could get would either be second hand or expensive for what they are.

As an example the 2.8ghz P4 I quoted you on the other thread is £50. Core2's start at around this price.

If it was my money, again as stated earlier, I'd be looking at a new system.

Ahh okay,

I intended on just building a new computer from scratch as money isnt really a issue due to im buying it piece by piece.
Just seeing weather i could save a bit of time and money from just using parts i already have.
