Hello all :)

As some of you may of read, My computer (Dan's piece of crap) has died.

So instead of trying to fix it, i thought sell the remaining parts:)

I have a Dell laptop coming by the 19th.

So i wil then start building Dan's not so crap computer. Any ideas of what hardware i could use, motherboard, Memory, cases etc.

I don't want to buy reall expensive stuff.

Thank you for the input:)

I'd look at a P35 Chipset
Maybe an E8200 for the Adobe programs, quite CPU intensive, if your budget stretches.
An 8600GT or ATI 3850 Sounds like it should do the graphics job just fine.
Hard Drive capacity is subjective
2 Gigs of PC2-6400 RAM

Are you looking to maybe upgrade in the future gaming-wise or is that unlikely?
Looking to overclock?

There's this Gigabite, has good chipset and can handle the PC2-6400 fine.

Also this MSI, they have very similar specs I haven't had experience with these boards however so if anyone else has they may be able to give a better judgment....

Yea, I agree, with that budget, that is probably what you are looking at.
