Default Anybody else never bother with an anti static wristband?

I'm always surprised by the look of horror on people's faces when I mention the fact I never use a wristband - anybody else in my camp or am I an accident just waiting to fry an expensive component?

I've always maintained that components are not actually as sensitive as people like to make out, though maybe I've just got lucky that although things have died on me, I'm yet to fry anything through installation.

I just grab the case or the heater anthing metal thats pluged in will dicharge you. I'ff you don't discharge the static first you could short out your motherboard or graphics card.
