Asrock Alivenf6g-vsta Im getting the BSOD running windows vista home prem. One of the errors is irql not less or equal and driver has overrun stack based buffer. I just install vista and olny using the drivers that are install from vista cd. I even get the error in safemode. I did run memtest for 5 pass each stick and 5 passes both sticks not one error. Only time i get an error is booting into windows or while in windows. So what im thinking is that its the memory giving me the problem the board only has the 20pin atx and 4pin 12volt plug in. So maybe someone here is using the same board. system specs:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Brisbane 2.3GHz 2 x 512KB L2
G.SKILL 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800
Western Digital Caviar SE WD1600AAJS 160GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb
LITE-ON Black 20X DVD+R
Thermaltake PS 500wat all rails volts are good
