Default The Best Gaming Pc for Me?

Hi, im planning on buying a gaming pc very soon and i need it to run most steam games smoothly (counter-strike: source, killing floor, call of duty 4 etc.). My budget is around £700 - £800 and i want a good monitor included in that. I was planning on buying the computer from www.overclockers.co.uk, so can someone please have a look on there and help me out with which is the best one for me? I would really appreciate it, thanks alot.

Just wondering, do you intent to buy it whole, or as parts and build yourself?

Being the far better option, particularly for gaming.

Even though Fordy says that buying in parts and building is the better option, i just plan to buy it whole as i do not want the trouble. Plus, i am not going to need a super-rocket machine, just something that can hold up most games up to this date perfectly and decent storage.

So yeah, the answer is to buy a pre-built gaming pc.

On a budget, yes definatly.

That is probably your best option then - even though its £100 under your stated budget.

As you say that you don't want an amazing machine, just a good enough one - the step up from that which is £90 over budget, would definatly be overkill.

The difference between a prebuilt and building it yourself isn't speed, it's price savings. Even paying someone to build it for you will mean ending up getting a lot more for your money.

Also Fordy, or anyone, would this build run my games well? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...d=1184&subcat=

I was thinking of upgrading the graphics card to ATI Radeon 4850 512mb for around £50 and with Windows XP Home, this is a really nice price that i would like to pay. This way, with the monitor aswell i will still be under my budget of £700 - 800.

If this is guaranteed to run games like Team Fortress 2, Counter-strike: Source, Killing Floor, World of Warcraft etc. well, then i will consider buying this machine. However, with such a low price im doubting it and am thinking i should buy one more expensive.
