You opted for no inside case lighting?

Your base unit seems a bit dead to me, no cathodes or even hdd/power lights at the front?

Hey, we have the same speakers!

Except you don't have the little grill thing on the front of them :p

Did I recommend the 2408 to you Cewy? Can't remember. Anyway, it's an awesome monitor, the 2407 was good but the '08 is even better.

And yes regarding Halo 3. It looks like aliasing to me but as the 360 has trouble (= it pretty much can't) display 1080 it's not surprising.

I remember you recommending it to him.

I'm actually thinking of getting one myself in a few months, with my new build, how much did you pay for yours?

i payed around 420 i think
also i have 3 led fans that light up the case and the front fan projects my name onto my desk
the gfx has had it after only a week so i am sending it back to ocuk hence why there is no lighting, the visualisation you see there is from the xbox playing music
this monitor is awesome
it has 2 dvi ports, component, composite, vga, svideo and a display port aswell as 2 usb ports that are perfect for pendrives and a multi card reader in the side! and it flips into portrait mode, i havent tested the pinp or pbyp yet because i have no second input but as you can see it works :)
also carbon i took the grills off for the pics

Does it annoy you having the computer so close to you? Mine is on my floor, but underneath my desk so the noise is minimal. When using my mums she has it on her desk like you have, and it gets annoyingly loud.

Want cheaper but still rather good?

Try (now) £300 for a Samsung 245B. There is some backlight bleed but it's only evident with the brightness turned waaaaay down. You can raise the height and swivel but there's no tilt.

All in all it's not a false economy.

I'm ordering a second shortly.
