The family PC consists of :
Intel Q9550
ASUS Striker Extreme
Patriot 4GB DDR2 5-5-5-12
ASUS 8800GTX
Enermax 1KW Modular
WD Raptor 10K
Leadtek Winfast DTV1000T

Most specs mentioned are irrelivant but to save posts I included all specs.

When I turn the PC on it boots and gets to the post screen and tells me it has loaded setup defaults for the bios, hitting F1 or Del does nothing, if I hit the 'Delete' key to enter the bios the PC stays froze at the image bios post screen. I have pressed the 'Clear CMOS' button on the motherboard adn took out the battery. I have tried changing the sticks of RAM and the channels they go into. I have unplugged 24pin power conector and 8-pin CPU power and plugged them back in again but nothing seems to work. I have took out the sound card (Included in Motherboard pacakge) and the TV card and still nothing. Twice I have managed to get it to work but when Vista begins to load ther is no HDD activity (evidence from the HDD LED) and the bar goes on and on and does not load vista, so I hit restart and I'm back to square one.

Please help or offer any advice I need this fixed for tomorow otherwise I'm in trouble, my computer may be took of me .

After leaving it turned off over night and turning it on this morning it works, good but I'd like to know what made it work for future reference any ideas are appreciated, (I'm not sure if the matter is solved as of yet however).
