About 4 months ago i bought a graphics card and it didnt work, every now and then id screw around with the inside and try to make it work. Recently i took out som RAM that didnt come with the computer. It then started making a 4 beep phrase. I did that yesterday and today i figured out what the problem was, i had not put the RAM sticks in fully. I also turned the computer off frequently. Now i have them in but when i turn on my computer vertical black and white lines come up, somthing like tv static and then the screen goes black, What could i do to fix this?

What video card did you have before; onboard? What video card did you buy 4 months ago?
I'm not understanding the ram issue. You said the ram didn't come with the computer, and now you put the ram back in?Are you getting a beeping code when turning on the PC? Is the PC posting? (Power On Self Test).

What kind of Mobo/Processor do you have?

Nevermind i got the problem figured out. One of the ram click in things was covered by wires and i didn't see it wasn't fully clicked in.
