My laptop wasn't meant to be for games. I have games on it. They don't run terribly well, so I'm thinking of getting a new computer. Now, my budget is pretty low (£200-£250 - THAT'S ALL MY PARENT'S WILL LET ME PAY, AND THEY'D RATHER IT BE ABOUT £150), but the computer would mainly be used for Source games (Team Fortress 2 - with Phong) and BattleField 2.

Now, Carbon found me a good build, but Dad said it was too much. Soooo, I'm still looking.
So, I need help. I don't know what to get. Uhm, yeah. If anyone would like to help, just post the stuff, and I'll look into it.

Thanks.

as for money, its always cheaper to build your own than to get it prebuilt.

I offered him a cheap-as-can-be build with a 650i (so supports Wolfdale..Intel is going to hunt me down and kill me if I keep calling it Penryn because that's the laptop version), a gig of ram, a Pentium D and a X20something PRO (which is pretty terrible but cheap and plays source). 250 or so. No dice.

If anyone can seriously recommend something under that, I would be surprised.

When you say a 'build'

What components do you require? Is it the whole deal including the os?
