I am well aware of that, but there IS a European or Swedish computer parts store that DOES, and their parts will usually be comparably priced.

Man up and conquer your fear. We ALL had to build our "first" computer. for me it was just a few months ago lol, so I am NOT the expert that someone like Carbon is. Besides, like Thingie said, we will help you. It's really not that hard.

I dunno cowboy. I spent about 3500 on my first build. And I wasn't even smart enough to go to a website and ask for help or advise so you are ahead of me there.

Yea, it's all fairly simple when you get into it. And it's a good learning experience. The basic rule is, if it doesn't easily fit, ask, before shoving it as hard as you can From what I can remember every component is produced so that it only fits in the right place the right way round. The hardest part is probably the CPU, but even then, if you pay attention to where the notch and grove is, it should be fine. Also as it's your first build, and you want to be confident building it, I recommend you purchasing an Anti-static wristband, as it just gives you that peace of mind in that you don't have any static charge on you about to shock your components, and they only cost about $10 or so, so they aren't that deer.

I'm going to be spending about that amount (but I'm from the UK so it will be more £1000-£1500) but with the currency conversion and the difference in prices (from tax etc) it will be about that, and this will be my first complete build, although I have done a lot of upgrades and a few near full builds, so I like to think I know what I'm doing.

Dell wanted around 10,000 for the same build.............

The last time I got a computer we spent about that much and it was a crap machine, out of date in about 6 months. Actually my wife got it for me for Christmas a few years back, I wanted to build one then, but what are you going to do eh? This time I didn't tell her, I just did it. Boy was she pissed when she found out lol.

lol I tell my parents, but they know there isn't rearly anything they can do. And they know how much I want it and it's my money, so they basicly say ok, if your sure that's what you want to spend your money on, go for it.
