Hi, I don't think theres a webcam section, so I thought I'd post this in here, sorry if it's in the wrong place!

I'm thinking of buying a new webcam, but don't know where to start! I'm not very good when it comes to the technical stuff so I thought I'd better ask someone who has more experience than me! I was hoping someone could give me some tips on buying a webcam. I'll be using it on Windows Live Messenger, taking pictures, so obviously I want the picture quality to be good and not blurry.

Hope someone can help.. Thanks!

Thanks, I'll have a look on their website now. I won't be going over £30.

Which webcam is better? The Microsoft Lifecam 5000 or the Microsoft Lifecam 6000?

I have a Lifecam VX-5000 at home. It works brilliatly. The built-in microphone is fairly decent quality (never heard anyone saying they couldn't hear me).
