Buzzing from inside case


Hi there, i recently built a new computer and have had no problems with it. But there is an annoying buzzing sound that is coming from inside the case. The sounds stops when i use my middle mouse button to scroll and then when i stop scrolling the problem persits.
any help or comments will be welcomed

Could be coming from your speakers? not the case itself.

It is not coming from speakers as i have reomoved all external audio and there are no case speakers or buzzers inside, but thanks for the idea

And you say scrolling with the middle mouse button is the only way to stop it as far as you know?
The only solution i can think of is going over your components , screws, bays etc and double checking there secure, but i cant link that to the mouse thing?

Yea i kno, all screws seem fine, its a pretty new build and all my screws are spaced using silicone so there is no rattle. I think it may be something to do with the usb ports but im not sure

Buzzing from inside case


Could be I/O interference.
Could be the case vibrating.
Could be a fan.

How close is the PC to any other electrical appliances? Try moving it further away.

Pull the side panel off whilst the pc is running.

Try rubber grommets instead of screws.

Its coming from around my heatsink at the top of my board.which is away from my usb and my psu also sits in the bottom of my case so it is not that
