It has a celeron (r) M 440 @1.86 ghz, 1512 mb of ram, and 32 bit operating system. If so please point me towards some web sites that tell how

Yeh you can. i went to wikipedia (type that into google and you'll find it) and typed it wikipedia's search bar Presario C500 and scroll down bout half way down the page

yes you can .open you computer then you will see you the mother board jump it. then you will overclock you computer.
