Default card reader idea

Hi i have a dell 8400 and i want to add a card reader into the spare 3.5" front slot,

problem is there are none of the usual internal usb connections on the board to plug one in, i was thinking of buying a pci usb adaptor which would give me 4 external usb ports and one usb 2.0 internal port.

does anyone have any ideas how to do this as i dont think this will work
