Im not sure if this is a hardware or software issue, But im assuming its hardware being that I get this error before windows even tries to load..
The computer is Custom built. On startup, It recognizes the video card, Ram, Hard drive, and processor.. I took a pic of the error that i get when trying to start it.. Lemme know if anyone has an idea of what it could be and how to go about fixing it :D Thanks!! here is the pic...

Windows carries out an integrity check, on various critical files, when it starts and if any of these are corrupted, the "checksum" error is displayed and the system fails to boot.

It could simply be a corrupted file or bad sector on the Hard Drive, in which case a format/reinstall of Windows will solve it. If it doesn't, then you most likely have a Hardware issue, with either the Hard Drive or the Ram. If you can boot from the Windows Installation Disk and get into the Recovery Console, you may be able to salvage it from there, if it's a software issue. My System: Home Build
