I had a pretty good rig a few months ago and this is what happened when it died.
So randomly one day I turn on my comp normally and the screen stayed black, no apparent audible processing I could hear, and all the cords were plugged just fine. I restarted it a few times and finally it recognized the boot up and went to windows. Now it doesn't make it past the black screen. I can't get to setup let alone see any sort of booting up whatsoever. I heard it might be the result of a trojan virus. Any help appreciated. |

See if you can get it to boot from a boot CD, say a Linux distro from Linux Format.
