Hey guys, well basically my computer is constantly crashing what I mean by this is an application will first stop working, followed by every other application then my mouse will freeze and the orange light on my system stay's on (the processor light I think). Then what usually happens is when I reboot the system it will fail to boot by staying stuck on windows loading screen or crash again a short while after I log in, this can usually be stopped by pulling the power and SATA cable out of my hard-drive, blowing on them, and putting them back in (weird?). Now what's even weirder is I have re-installed the OS several times, tried differen't OS's replaced the SATA cable and power cable as well as bought a whole new hard-drive but the problems persist. So im not sure what to do right now as sometimes the crashes cause the boot sector to go corrupt and cause me to have to format and re-install (a friggin pain in the ***). At the moment Im'm using windows XP, I have tried Vista but the same problems occur.

here's my Dxdiag log, im not sure what else I need to post

Reset the CMOS, fix your memory voltage and timings and try again.

It might be your hardware problem, you have contact your vendor who can check your motherboard and ram may causing the problem.

I agree that it could be the RAM.

It defo sounds like a Hardware problem. So you have chnaged your hard drive the next on the list woul be your motherboard; is there a way that you can get that tested? Maybe try it in a friends machine.

I would be surprised if it will be the RAM as this would determine the speed but will constant crashing and also crashing after a new install of the OS leads me to believe that the problem is with the motherboard. But get it tested first cause i could be wrong!!!

What is the Spec of your machine?

Yes, you are wrong, this has absolutely nothing to do with the motherboard.

Try resetting CMOS chip with jumper switch, if things calm down after you do that, then later on you have the same problem, my guess is that your motherboard is faulty.
