Default Computer Freezing after boot, HELP!

While playing WoW my computers sound completely stopped working and then it locked up a minute or two later and i had to restart. Now my computer is freezing up every time i try to boot it up. Sometimes it will freeze while windows XP is loading and sometimes it will freeze a few minutes after windows loads and i log into my profile. Also the sound is still completely gone. Please help!
