Default Computer keeps doing a pyhsical dump

Hi guys

My PC is doing my head in. Every time i leave it downloading or try and copy disk to disk it shuts it self down, a big blue screen appears with lots of writing and it says its doing a pyhsical dump.

Any ideas? please help

It could be overheating, first thing to check is the fans inside the PC.

Firstly run a check disk or scandisk on ur computer and check for surface errors if there are too many bad sectors then i will suggest going for a new hardisk . Otherwise u can portion the bad part too but that will be temporary , Used to happen with my old harddisk .

Ofcourse if you have bad sectors and the disk new you can always exchange it with the warranty available. The overheating does not generally occur whenever we start copying disk to disk.

This is mostly disk related problem if you do not find this problem when you run testcpu programs.
