Okay, so i have a 2 yr old Dell PC with Vista. It is AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core processor 4400+ 2.31 GHz.

I don't know much about computers but i do know that i screwed up by getting only 1 GB of memory instead of the two that it is recommended for vista. What i get for trying to be cheap i guess.

I used to watch my TV shows online on hulu.com or fox/abc.com. All of a sudden, I can't watch anything online anymore. It will freeze up completely. Its like my computer hit a wall.

Also i just bought a disc with three computer games on it. They are older games. They require only 512mb of RAM if you have vista. I have plenty of hard drive space. I cannot run the game at all.

Now my question is, do you think my game/show problem is related to my RAM or to a lack of a video/sound card? I have the very basic Nvidea GeForce (spelling?) that came with the computer and i downloaded DirectX newest software.

Just looking for advice before i put money into my computer that i might not need to.

For the Hulu issue - what browser are you using? You might post a log in case you have some sort of malware.

As for the games, could you list what they are?

I actually fixed it myself. Took a couple hours but finally i stumbled across a forum that had a link for an update for Nvdea GeForce (spelling?). I updated that and my game played just fine. I had bought the fallout trilogy. I haven't checked to see if hulu runs yet...But i'm hoping it will. I'm not sure what you meant by posting a log?
