Fans/overheating would be the first thing to check.

It's very unlikely that it's an overheating problem. If you're using Windows, there's a good chance that there is either a compatibility issue with your hardware's drivers, or even more likely, a hardware conflict somewhere.

My advice to you would be to go into DEVICE MANAGER, and disable everything (that isn't essential to run the computer). Leave it on for a while and play around with some applications to see if you can create the reboot again.

If not, continue this process by enabling one device at a time, then waiting for a while.

Continue this cycle until the reboot problem comes back - and you'll have your culprit.

Make a note of the hardware device you enabled, and let us know what (if this is the problem) it is that's causing it :)

72 degrees is too hot. You've just hit the nail on the head I think.

Is it an AMD processor by any chance?

Have you ever cleared all the dust and crap from the processor with compressed air..makes all the difference..sometimes as much as 20 degrees..if its so cacked up and never been cleaned out.
Also make sure you have sufficient cooling on the case as well...
