ok this probably has something to do with a hardrive problem.. right my friends computer just randomely shuts off and then restarts again, any suggestings.. no other information btw it just shuts off and restarts!!

Fans/overheating would be the first thing to check.

wat heat should the fan be at then, and how would u fix it??

It's very unlikely that it's an overheating problem. If you're using Windows, there's a good chance that there is either a compatibility issue with your hardware's drivers, or even more likely, a hardware conflict somewhere.

My advice to you would be to go into DEVICE MANAGER, and disable everything (that isn't essential to run the computer). Leave it on for a while and play around with some applications to see if you can create the reboot again.

If not, continue this process by enabling one device at a time, then waiting for a while.

Continue this cycle until the reboot problem comes back - and you'll have your culprit.

Make a note of the hardware device you enabled, and let us know what (if this is the problem) it is that's causing it :)

72 degrees is too hot. You've just hit the nail on the head I think.

Is it an AMD processor by any chance?
