| Computer problem that's driving me insane - please HELP That could be a possibility, but I wouldn't spend too much on one, just in case the motherboard itself is faulty.

It could be worth a try .... see if you can get a cheap one from a local store, who will change it, if it doesn't resolve the issue. My System: Home Build

| Computer problem that's driving me insane - please HELP Not sure but can you go into setup and disable your onboard video? I know some features can be disabled in setup. If not then i guess it's time to replace the motherboard. |

| Computer problem that's driving me insane - please HELP Yes you can use a graphics card. even if your onboard is busted. personally i'd go with something from nvidia. geforce 7s are pretty decent and things like the 7300 are dirt cheap nowadays. |
