Default computer problems STILL

my computer still hates me. i dont want to put anymore into this computer since these hard drives are eventually going to go into a spare pc i make just for storing my music and seeding torrents. lets see if anyone can give me some suggestions now on what to do.

its still doing the "turn off" thing, no error messages just like before. for those that dont remember, my computer would just turn off. doesnt matter if its on full load, half load or just idling. heat sensors look fine, cpu sensors are actually lower by 1-3 degrees.

replaced motherboard
replaced cpu
replaced ram
replaced cpu heatsink/fan
replaced cdrom (was dying anyway)
replaced video card
replaced psu
fresh windows xp install
checked all wires
heat sensors are fine

id like some suggestions from anyone that can think of something i missed. im getting to the point where i want to smash it with a bat.

Specs
Motherboard ASUS A8N-E
CPU Athlon X2 3600
RAM Corsair XMS 2GB DDR 400
PSU ASUS Altas A-55GA ATX 550W
HEATSINK Stock
VIDEO XFX 8600 GT PCI-e

Slightly off topic.

Are you mad?

You choose to quote, in a public forum, that you seed torrents. I mean, I'm sure the other illegal file-sharer's that leech from you are happy that they're not having to pay for copyrighted content and I'm sure you're happy because it pushes your ratio up, but in public??

Regarding your question, I'm sure some hardware person will be along shortly to answer it.

If it's through a LAN, no.

If it's through a site that has illegal content on it's servers or allows illegal content to be uploaded to it's servers, or allows it's servers to be used as a 'hub' for a p2p network for illegal content, then yes.

This is really irrelevant to how torrent trackers work, except for the last part which has been ruled legal by pretty much every court in the land (as long as the server isn't hosting the content itself). Even if it was, users of a service legally cannot (and are not) be held liable for the actions of that service as long as they're not involved in using the illegal sections of that service - seeding Linux distros is not illegal and is encouraged by developers (obviously). Google has been sued a few times and all the cases have been thrown out for exactly this reason; let's not demonize a file protocol.

If you've replaced all those parts you no longer have the same computer, heh. Could the motherboard be shorting on the case? It's clearly not a parts problem, so looks like the problem is between keyboard and chair..or..chair and case. :p
