| I bought my desktop around November 2007 and it ran almost completely silently the first time I booted it up. Now just today, I turned it on and I could hear the computer running from the other side of my room. I believe the noise was a combination of the fans and hard drives running. Does anyone know how I can reduce this noise? Maybe something to do with dust accumulation in the case? Any and all suggestions would be great! |

| Yes dust accumulation would cause this, clean the fans and air intakes.
