Hi

Am reasonably new to computers so the following question may seem inane.

When I turn on the computer, the following message comes up " Diskette drive 0 failure"

I then have the options of "Press F1 to continue, F2 to enter set up"

What is a "diskette drive failure" and how do I "fix" this problem?

Many thanks

Well it probably means that the floppy drive has failed then.

Can you try using the floppy drive within Windows, and see if it is functional?

Glad you got it worked out.

Did removing the floppy drive stop the error message from appearing?
