Hello folks,

I recently borrowed a pc from my neighbor but I found a problem

while using it. When I started to use it , it was fine and it works

perfectly but after I turned it off It could not turn on(sometime it

does turn on) . What will be the major cause on this?

Thanks for answering me

sounds like there is probably something wrong with the power switch, if it works fine once it gets on, however it could be something wrong with the power switch part int he PSU. Have you checked the inside of the case to check the power switch is pugged firmly into the motherboard? Also, you could do with trying the PSU on another computer, to check if it works, or visa-versa.

Thanks for fast reply,

Sorry for not being clear, the computer does turn on but the screen does not show anything and

sometime it shows(which mean it works), I tried replacing it with my own power supply which work,

replaced the RAM, I isolated all components and remain with the component in which it lets the

computer run, which means Mobo, RAM, PSU and CPU. The screen still does not show anything..

but and again, it does work sometime when Iam lucky :'(

Like Thingie says try a graphics card in your computer and disable the onboard one to see if that works. Also the time that you can get it on maybe try to reinstall the video drivers as well. Since when has it started doing this do you know?
