 Cpu of CNC controller hangs. why? What are the situations in which the CPU hangs?This the case of a CNC machine controller. These controllers run on DOS and use 286-386 kind of chips as CPUs. They can not be replaced by normal CPUs. You have to repair them. Kindly let me know all the possibilities in which it hangs (both hardware and software related) Thanking you all. Prashsar. |

| Cpu of CNC controller hangs. why? Yes.CNC in plant comp.Agreed they are not akin,but the logic of booting remains the same.You can consider them as equivalent as old 286 type processors working with DOS only. This one hangs within 2 min. or earlier after the power On.Sometimes immediately after you see the screen. Virus in this case is no chance cause it do not communicate with outer world. This problem arose after the machine left un-used for a long time. Thanks. Prashsar. |
