![]() Possibly the best approach to sorting out the situation I'd say.. Although they might try and sell you a "magic cable" for easy transfer of ants between computers and/or the outside world. That or they'll offer you an upgrade package for the ants nest. If you're really lucky you might get a guy knowledgeable enough to know that ants are supposed to be in computers. My System: FordyPC

I unplugged my rechargeable battery pack from the wall outlet a few weeks ago and there were hundreds of tiny little ants living in the unoccupied socket. They were all carrying around food and whatnot. I think they are attracted to the electric current for some reason. Luckily I found it before they blew out a fuse or caused a fire.
![]() Silly buggers. It's kind of freaky to see that unexpected. I wish I would have thought to snap a picture.

the other week, we had a call out to the electrics tripping, narrowed it down to the outside lights, checked all bar the last one, and narrowed it down further to be the fitting, took fitting off everything was fine, but when it was on the circuit tripped off, spent 10 mins bloody trying to work out how the damn thing came apart, after struggling, managed to get it apart, and some grubs had nested in the bulb holder, there was about 12, obviously a few had crossed between the live and neutraul terminals, and it gave about 6 of them a 230v shock, before it tripped the breaker, calcualted at 21 amps going through them, as it was turning the breaker of in less then 0.1 seconds, and from that u can calculate the 21 amps lol, very funny lol
