Default Ctrl keys not working.

OS (Windows Vista Ultimate 32-Bit)
Keyboard (Saitek Eclipse II)

I have recently bought the new keyboard and it worked fine for about three weeks until three days ago the Ctrl keys started acting funny. They would randomly work and randomly not work, and It has gotten worst now to the point where they arent working at all. This is really frustrating when trying to play my games.

I have tested other keyboards on the computer, they worked fine. I also tested this keyboard on a different machine and same problem. So now I'm certain its a hardware issue. - I do not want to buy another one, thats the last thing on my mind. I'm am not new to repairing hardware but I've never been inside a keyboard.

At first it seemed the left Ctrl key was making bad contact with the mainboard, So I played with the rubber dome, pushed on it and it kinda worked, but not well. But now I get nothing when I push on it.

Thing is, BOTH Ctrl keys do not work so I'm not sure what that says. I need someone with better knowledge with keyboards to tell me what to look for, and how to fix it.
Something of the like.

All other keys work perfect. I don't get it.

PS: The Ctrl keys JUST started working as I was posting this, They just have a mind of their own! >_<
This is what its been doing.

PSS: Using a key testing software, the Ctrl keys showed up working well, Id barely tap on them and they work just like all the other keys. Then out of no where, they stop working again.

I DON"T know what to think of THIS!! Hardware, or software!? ugh.

Help much appreciated.
Thanks.

TBH if it's a brand new keyboard I would return it to the place you bought it from.If you have tried it on another PC and it gives the same fault, pretty certain to be a faulty keyboard.

And if you really want to fix it yourself rather than returning it, then I suggest you open the keyboard yourself and have a look inside...

You'd be surprised how simple it is... There is only one tiny little circuit board close to the where the cable is. The rest is just a simple membrane with metal bits in it... You can't really do much wrong with openeing up a keyboard...
