No leave them, just the main bits - add-on PCI cards (soundcard or network cards), hard drive/CD-Rom data cables and power cables.

UK voltage = 240v

States = 115v

That's correct, sadly I'd say dead motherboard, Alex may have a few more things to suggest but when all you have plugged in are the basics and the PSU is new then its pretty cut and dry my friend.
