Default Dear Carbon! - Computer Build Parts Recommendation

Okay thanks, I'll replace the graphic card and the processor since it was a combo.

And should I also replace the motherboard since it's the cause of the VGA signal problem?
It's weird because when I turn on the computer, sometimes you see the gigabyte motherboard ad and then just show's no dvi signal, I keep pressing F12 so I can tell the computer to install the operating system, but the screen simply has no signal while the computer is running, and the case fan's are loud.
I might replace the whole build and start over since I don't know what I messed up and where, but now I know the concept on how to build a computer so if I do replace the build it should be way easier for me to build it.

Any suggestion's?

No, no, don't replace the processor, that's more trouble than its worth, just RMA the graphics card.

So you are getting a signal for the Gigabyte flash screen? You shouldn't have to press F12 to install an OS, what screen is telling you this (is it saying press F12 to boot from disc?)? You might need to make sure your memory voltage is OK and also the processor temperature is OK, so can you get into the BIOS/setup?

Nope can't get to the setup, I press f12 so I can tell the computer to boot the cd that's in the optical drive which is the operating system.

What is the cause of no VGA or DVI signal? My friend thought it's because of the hard drive, but I read other forums and people say it's something with the graphic card or motherboard.

I have 2 cables from the power supply connecting to the motherboard, the huge ATX pin cable that's connected on the top right of the motherboard, and the 4 pin cable that's connected on the top left of the motherboard.
I connected all the power leds correctly, and I have 2 4 pin cables from the power supply connecting to the graphic card before it was damaged.
Did I skip a step or missed something?

Power sounds OK then - just to clarify, you have the same problem when you hit the button to go to BIOS/setup? Is the HSF all the way seated, did you put thermal paste on it, have you tried with only one stick of RAM? Since you see the splash screen, it's probably not a DOA hardware problem.

I took out the original heat and sink fan and replaced it with the V8 one, I screwed the heat sink to the motherboard and behind it to keep it tight.
Yes I added thermal paste that came with it, then I attached it to the processor and it's really stable.

Yeah I saw the gigabyte splash screen, but not every time I turn on the computer, only sometimes, most of the time it just goes straight to no dvi signal.
And I have 1 extra 4 pin cable from the power supply if that goes anywhere, probably for a second graphic card if I get one but I'm not sure.

Okay now when I press F12 the boot system shows up, I tried to install the operating system but it said 'failed to boot from disc' and I downloaded it from the link you gave me, so why does that happen?
And it gives me like 3-8 seconds to do that then "no dvi signal" shows up. :/

Like I said, if that part works you need to get into the BIOS and check your temperatures and memory voltage.

I also just realized that if the fan was super broken on the GPU, those symptoms could happen (the GPU could overheat and then you would get random no signal). So RMA that first and see if that fixes it.

Alright will do, another thing is that the case fans are really loud for some reason, are they supose to be like that?
And I didn't use those 3 stand of screw things on my motherboard, their a bronze color and I don't know how if I should use them so I just mounted the motherboard in the computer and just screwed it tight.

And the windows 7 beta I downloaded did not work, it said disk failed or something like that when I tried to boot it, where can I re download it?

Yeah, this is the problem then. Hope the motherboard's not damaged.

As for the disc, just burn it again at a lower speed setting. Mount it in PowerISO or something if you want to make sure it's not corrupt.
