| I have been shopping around in newegg, putting together my new desktop. So far this is what I'm looking at... http://s140.photobucket.com/albums/r...lipboard01.jpg http://s140.photobucket.com/albums/r...lipboard02.jpg http://s140.photobucket.com/albums/r...lipboard03.jpg I need to make sure that everything here is compatible and quality (that meaning if there is a piece of hardware that has a rep for being bad, tell me and we will find something else). I need to keep the price of this build around $1200 (including the shipping). I plan on doing a lot of gaming, music, firefoxing, and photoshop. Thank you very much for your help. :) |

| can you direct link me to the motherboard, processor, ram, and video card?

if the motherboard has the right socket, you have the right ram, it has pci-e 16, and supports the sata 3.0 HDD then you should be fine. You'll probably have to wait for Alex to get confirmation. My System: hAvAAck Build 3

| Hi Ellipsicon. It all looks good, although I'd be tempted to swap the WD hdd for a Samsung Spinpoint 250gb. It's a well balanced spec you've put together there, well done.
