Default Desktop or Laptop?

I like both but voted for desktop, I like the portability of the laptop but that all changed when I bought a XPS 17", it felt as if I was carrying a desktop around with me!!!
Had to go for desktop cos I love being able to dismantle/upgrade/overclock so easily, modding is what got me interested in comps in the first place, its a hobby to me, but not much of one with just a lappy

Desktop too. I don't really have much use for a laptop, because it's main use is portability. I'm only in high school, so the school supplies computers. There isn't much use for a laptop. Also like desktop because of what thingie and SocialWarfare said, upgrading, overclocking etc.

Both for different reasons. They have completely different uses.

Default Desktop or Laptop?

Swapping to a laptop was the best thing I ever did, don't play games, can move it anywhere and when I have a power cut which is pretty frequent round my way I can carry on.

Default Desktop or Laptop?

Right now, being a student, a laptop is great, but if I could, I would have a desktop. It's just much more comfotable being able to move everything around to a perfect setup. I hate having the keyboard so close to the screen, but using a USB keyboard on a laptop feels wrong.

Laptops are great! I rarely use my desktop any more. A small, light laptop beats a desktop any day unless you want to play games.

I have a 17" inch screen laptop, but it's a pretty slim one so does not feel bulky to me, it's all in the design/weight.
