Default Digital TV USB Stick

Hi

I am looking at ways of getting digital TV in my girls bedroom and came across a digital tv receiver in the shape of a USB stick, that plugs into a standard USB port ona PC ? Does anybody know whether these are any good and do you have to be in an area right next door to the transmitter ?! Its just I have tried using an internal aerial for a tv in our house and the reception is lousy. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum !

thanks

I'd imagine they'd work OK but not that great for reception. I'd get a TV card that has an antenna tbh.

You will need a decent arial for good quality pic & sound.
If you cant get one with an indoor arial, it's unlikely you will with the stick arial.
