Default Dilema, prebuilt or build?£300 budget

Hi all , i need help building/buying a budget desktop.
I'm torn between buying a pre built brand and building an upgradable pc.
The computer will be mainly for playing poker on and gaming when i add a good graphics card.
Eventually i would like to run two 24" tft monitiors at 1600 - 1200 resolution
So i could also do with some advice on which graphics card i should be thinking about adding in a few months.
The games i would like to play are NWN2 and UT3

I know it will be a struggle on £300 ,thats why im considering buying a basic brand desktop for now and then winning a bigger budget to buy a gaming rig later.
I'm so confused i need the new pc asap because im losing money by not playing cards.

So far this is the basic outline;
160gb hard drive
2gb ram
2.4Ghz +
500w psu
Vista?
I have a GT6600 card that i could use for the mean time so i guess the amd would be the way to go.

Or a £200-300 prebuilt .. ive only found 2 of these on ebuyer

See if anything here takes your fancy. You can customise all models or, if you ring them or email them, they wil give you a quote for any spec you throw at them.
Also, if you want to build it yourself, they have mobo/cpu bundles here

I've sourced several PC's from them and they have always been reliable and very helpful.

You're going to need a motherboard with a PCI-E x16 lane if you're going to update your card in the future. Also make sure your 6600 isn't AGP - if it is, you're going to need to get a budget PCI-E card or a motherboard with onboard graphics cause it won't work.

Thanks for the replys i checked the site out, seams very good but i carnt put up with this noisy laptop for another week .
Time is of the most importance so i will be ordering a £200 basic office system from ebuyer tommorow(due to their quick deliverly) so i can get back to work.
I will use this temporarily while i save up for an ultimate gaming rig which i will buy in bits over the comming months. Then i will donate this cheapy to my dad who still has a PIII with win ME.
I'll be trawling the forum for the ne><t few months getting a better picture of my dream system which i will be spending around £700 on!
