I like all the "May not" comments though, kinda hedging there. Putting the "may not's" into real-speak they're saying "we're guessing". Yeah, nice.
Besides I'd much rather have a card that had a much more balanced layout (in the form of stream processors) as you'll never see parts of the card sitting idle in certain areas of a game ( in the case of cards with vertex and pixel pipes). These cards can also cause frame rates to drop because there's always a disparagy between the number of pixel pipes and vertex pipes on that type of card, so a scene that requires using vertex shading will more than likely cause a frame rate drop. Which in turn will mean stuttering in the game, which is about the most annoying thing that can happen when gaming.
