Default Don't know if this where this goes, but . . .

I have a DirecTV DVR box (not sure of the model) and would like to hook it up to my computer to transfer the shows I've recorded to my DVD burner. The burner on my computer is the only one I own, so somehow I need to get the info there. Is there a way to EVEN do that? I appreciate the help ! :)

I am not sure what you are asking. You would like to burn DVDs from the TV using your none computer burner, and add the to your computer? Is that what you mean?

I would like to hook my computer up to the DVR box so that I can copy the items on the DVR to a DVD. Since I don't have a DVD burner, other than the one on my computer, I was wondering if the DVR could be hooked up to the computer to make the transfer. Was that any clearer? Or is it still as clear as mud? LOL
