...not printing? Just changed my cartridges with compatible (generic) ink cartridges, but now Epson r200 printer not printing. I put back the original ink again, and then it printed but the new cartridges do not print. I have tried like 3 different ones, and still printer does not see the cartridge.

It sounds like, printer is not recognizing the compatible cartridges. I recommend that you uninstall the printer software (printer driver) of your R200 and then reinstall it again. But this time do not choose ink level tracking feature (since that is the part the printer understands that your cartridges are not original). If printer still do not work after this, then I recommend that you get a epson chip resetter: http://www.printcountry.com/chip_res...IPRESET.htmThe chip resetter is good if you are going to keep using compatible cartridges. www.printcountry.com

the chips in the new cartridges might need to be reset or re chipped . where did you get the new ones from (all at the same place?). that is the problem with these new printers and cartridges (most brands) they have a chip in them so you can only fill them yourself once or twice before you have to buy new ones or reset the old ones ( chip resetting kit usually cost 33 40 bucks. did you talk to the person who sold you the cartridge'si am not sure but this is what i have been told a few times from a couple of different people! hope this helpsHAVE A NICE DAY ! ! !
