Default Everything went black

Well heres the problem: i put a USB 2.0 PCI adapter in my computer. I went and checked in the Device Manager and everything was working fine so i plugged in an MP3 charger with nothing on it and my computer shut down and wont turn on. Can anyone help?...

Unplug the mains power for 30 seconds then try again to power it on.

Yeah, it clears power from the PC and resets everything.

Which is a good idea as it sounds like something shorted out.

It was working with the card in wasn't it?

It sounds like the lead/mp3 charger is at fault so unplug that first.

There wasnt anything on the charger at the time

Oh yeah and the drivers weren't installing right

The only reason a PC doesn't turn on is hardware related.

So... unplug what you plugged in when it turned off, unplug the mains for 30 seconds and then try to power it on.
