| That isn't a bad setup atall. Your cpu is where you are getting let down. What is the FSB, 800Mhz?

| Your CPU is a Pentium D not a Core 2 Duo so it is old dual core technology.

| Definately the cpu. Pentium D's aren't true dual-core cpu's, basically two P4's glued together and the p4 is a lousy gaming chip. Also, the games you're playing probably aren't optimised for dual-core cpu's. Netburst architecture should have been strangled at birth. At 1680x1050 it'll struggle, even though the gpu takes us most of the load when gaming.

| smashes my pc into the ground lol. ill go with the cpu option, its not new and technology doesnt age well. core 2 duo or quad will see you fine but can be expensive. |
