8500GT, 6750 and a "died in one year" PSU. Even for a "I want to upgrade this sequentially" PC, you're wasting money.

That build is not terrible but pretty close. Why don't you just tell me your budget and we'll figure something out.

well this was gonna run like just under 900. i woulda liked to stay at a top limit of 800 but no more then 900. the motherboard was the one you suggested. im tryin to stay budgeted but keep it upgradable.

$744??? i got like over 900 when i added it up? but i do like it.ill have to check some things and hopefully start buying some of it and in week or 2 when i get another check try to finish getting the rest. thnx for the help carbon. and what about sound card? or can i deal with the onboard one for now?

Onboard suits most people unless your a really keen music enthusiast or just piccky about sound. For Games though onboard is fine.

It's about $950 minus all the rebates. Once you send those in it's the total I stated.

oh ok sweet i didnt see all of the rebates. thats good that puts me in an even better price range. thanks a lot carbon. ill be sure to purchase items with rebates first incase i get low on money and have to wait week or 2 that way the rebate items i will get and still save.
