Default FireWire card not working :((

Hiya
I have bought firewire card for my computer and i put it into my motherboard. Then I switch ed on my computer. Then it shown me that it is a new device. I installed drivers and I started to connect my mp3 player and other devices and computer doesn't recogonise them. Can you tell me why? what is wrong? what should I do?

Default FireWire card not working :((

You may need to installthe drivers from the MP3 player, the card should have been automatically detected by XP, check in your control panel, system icon and in device manager that there is no hardware with the yellow question mark against it.

Everything is all right, no yellow marks, looks like working but this card is not working. I don't need install drivers from mp3. my mp3 player always working without drivers. Also I tried connect camera and is the same - Device Not Recognise.
