Default First Time Computer Builder: Looking for Feedback

Hello guys, first of all I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Background: Beginner at building computers, intermediate overall knowledge
Intention: Create a budget gaming computer for college
Budget: 700-800 USD

I have done some research, and through customer reviews and rating I've come up with a set list of components I plan to use below:

Graphics Card - EVGA 512-P3-N871-AR GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 Processor BX80571E7400 - 2.80GHz, 3MB Cache, 1066MHz FSB, Wolfdale-3M, Dual-Core, Retail, Socket 775

Motherboard - EVGA nForce 790i Ultra SLI Motherboard - NVIDIA nForce 790i Ultra SLI, Socket 775, ATX, Audio, PCI Express 2.0, SLI Ready, S/PDIF, USB 2.0, Firewire, eSATA, RAID

RAM (I heard Kingston was reliable, and it seems pretty cheap)- Kingston PC10600 1333MHz 2GB DDR3

Hard Drive (I can always add another one later right?) - Western Digital WD3200AAKS Caviar Blue Hard Drive - 3.5", 320GB, 7200rpm, 16MB, SATA-300, OEM

CD Drive - Samsung Super-WriteMaster™ DVD writer with LightScribe

Tower - COOLER MASTER RC-690-KKN1-GP Black SECC/ ABS ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Graphics Card - EVGA 512-P3-N871-AR GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

Power Supply -
OCZ StealthXStream OCZ700SXS 700W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

All together this comes to about $700, which is right on target, but I am also trying to make my desktop wireless, so i was looking into wireless cards.

Can anyone suggest a good wireless card for a college network?

And I also heard I may need a fan to cool the system? What makes it overheat and is anyone able to tell me if I will need extra fans for this particular setup?

So overall, will this system meet my expectations for college? A quality gaming machine for around $700, and if not I would appreciate any suggestions.

Feedback in general is also nice.

Thanks in Advance,
-Justin
