Resale will get you virtually nothing, but on the otherhand, you may get enough to buy a new battery for your laptop (I read your other thread lol). Of course you could always donate them to a church, an old folks home, or a shelter. You could ask around and find out if someone knows anyone with some young kids who can't afford a computer and give one to them.

Heck send me one lol, I know an old lady who needs a newer computer than what she has. Seriously though, I checked at a second hand computer store for her and one similar to the 3GHz one you are describing was going for $169. If they were selling it for that you can rest assured that they paid less than that for it, but it gives you a ball park figure for an asking price if you wanted to advertise it on your colleges bulletin board. The one I priced out did not come with a monitor, so if you are wanting to sell them with monitors you could ask a little more.

Maybe set one up as a server for a home network... Something to do, will probably learn a lot.

That or put Linux on them and play with that if you haven't already.

Linux might be a good idea. My Major is computer Science and all the computers we work on are running linux. I don't know too much about servers so i might research that. Also might donate one to my church..Never thought about that. Well thanks for the suggestions all..

A donation is a nice idea. Why don't you use them anymore?

You could always try setting up your components in something comical like an old microwave or tv , or try installing xp, vista, bete win 7 & linux on the 160HD :P
