Yup, that will happily game at 1920x1200 all day long. The 4gb ram is overkill, but what the hey.

Ya the memory is a bit overkill but even still you will be able to play any of the new games for many years to come.

If it is okay, may I also ask if my specs are good for my new gaming desktop.

Yup, that'll do nicely as well . Will also game at 1920x1200 happily. Although the 650 chipset is a bit of a let down to be frank, and as you're not going dual-card it's also a bit silly having it.

but with huge ram and a really good graphics card you avoid the ram being the bottle neck (if thats the correct terminology) instead it is more of a 2 foot bucket with out a bottom

Yeah, the 650i is really an old chipset. Dump the quad for a good Duo or even Extreme if you don't do any media stuff, and don't get the 8800GTX (get a 8800GT or two).
