Default hard drive free space?

HELP.Ihave deleted a lot of files and programmes,and my free space is showing 9.18gb and free space of 12% really frustrating as I need 15% to do a desperately needed defrag,can anyone help me please,thank you ,niel.

download as much of your music to your ipod as you can, then load it back in afterwards (assuming you have one)

The best and cheapest way if you have plenty of documents and program is to buy an external HD, it's very easy to use plug the external HD into your USB port and you can make back-ups of all the files stored on your computer, it saves time and money and it saves your valuable documents and an external HD is also handy for when your computer might crash. At least you stored your valuable documents on your external HD

Get rid of temporary files and clean out your Internet cache. However, I don't think that's going to give you enough space, unless your cache is huge. I think it may be time for a bigger hard drive.
