Default Hard drive - Need to replace myk Maxtor drive

Well given that my last one went as you may have gathered if you've read my warning about Maxtor drives thread, I am now in the process of looking for a replacement.

I am looking for something around the £80 with at least 250GB of space, though a little extra is preferred. I need a SATA interface and preferably something around 7200RPM. Quiet operation is preferred but not essential given the volume of everything else in my case.

Any suggestions? It's mainly brand I'm after but models will be considered.

Default Hard drive - Need to replace myk Maxtor drive

Both my Maxtor drives crashed at the weekend, I've had problems with Maxtor in the past.

I went out and got a 160GB 8MB cache Samsung drive for £50 from PC world.

The same drive was about £10 cheaper online but I needed it urgently, I'm hoping Samsung are more reliable, so far so good.
