I only have a 80gb hard drive in my computer and I'm near to filling it up, so I'm thinking about buying another one but I don't know what sizes to go for anything.. I don't want to get ripped off, shall I go for a internal or external?

Do you have any experience opening your PC case and fitting new hardware? Or would you need to pay someone to fit it? External can be useful for storing backups and transferring data too different locations.

No I don't think I would fancy prodding inside my computer I don't trust my self! Are externals as good? I heard they were a little bit slower and can cost more and sometimes are not worth the money, is this true?

It's easy changing an internal drive. it will be located at the front and near bottom of yor case. You can replace the old one buy unpluging the power and data cable from it and plug the new one in the same the first was pluged in. You will have to back up your work first and reinstall windows and everything else. Adding an aditional drive you may need another data cable. Their should already be a free power cable in there just copy the way the other hard drive is pluged in. It's best to have windows and programes work data on drive C and photos, music on the new drive D. If you have a spare USB socket you can add a maxtor One Touch drive and use it as extra storage and as a backup. It's an external drive and has a usb and power cable. You can buy them at 200Gb for a good price.
