Default Hardware compatability?

I had some questions earlier on, and this forum helped me particularly well, so I thought I'd seek for some more help.

I've been lurking around for some good hardware, to basically build my own PC, but not from scratch. I already have a desktop right now, but I want to take some parts, buy some extra parts and then assemble it all in a new case.

Here is the hardware I'm planning on buying/taking from my old computer:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80562Q6600

CPU Cooler: Thermaltake CL-P0114 120mm CPU Cooler

Motherboard: ASUS P5W DH DELUXE/WIFI-AP LGA 775 Intel 975X ATX Intel Motherboard

Memory: 4GB [4x1.0 GB PC2-4200 (533Mhz) 240 pin DDR2 DIMM]

Hard drive: Maxtor 6V160E0, 160GB, SATA, 3.0Gb.

Video Card: BFG NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS OC 256MB PCIe

Power Supply: Antec 450W.

CD/DVD Burner: SAMSUNG 20X DVD±R DVD Burner Black SATA Model SH-S203B

Case: Thermaltake Armor Series VA8003BWS Black Full Tower Case w/ 25CM Fan.

Would this work as a whole?

It all looks right to me. The only thing I think I might suggest is a slightly more powerful PSU with that high end hardware.

Hope I was a little helpful .

Compatibility wise, as per Balom, yup, it appears to be fine.

I'd also recommend a more powerful psu, 500-600w. As 450w is the absolute minimum you need to running a quad cpu and a separate graphics card. Granted, that's Intel's measure but as they know something about it I wouldn't ignore the advice.

Also, I'd strongly recommend faster ram. Quad's need a lot of bandwidth, 533mhz ram will strangle your cpu.

Okay guys! Thanks for sharing. =D
I was already thinking about getting a new PSU, but not sure if I actually needed one because I already have that 450W Antec (which is also quite new).
Buying new memory will probably be a little too expensive, because I'm trying to stay underneath 700 dollars (which is where I'm at right now).

Edit: Would there be any problems concerning the heat? The case has 3 fans in it, one extra CPU cooler and one in the power supply. That should be enough, but you never know? O_O.

Oh and also, would it be worth my money? Right now I have an intel core 2 duo and an intel motherboard that came with my Dell.

So here's what I'm planning on buying:
- motherboard: asus p5w dh deluxe lga 775 intel
- processor: intel core 2 quad q6600 2.4ghz
- case: thermaltake armor series va8003 bws black full tower case w/ fan.

I heard a lot of good stuff about newegg.com, but I live in Europe and they don't accept European credit cards... Are there any good online stores which do deliver & bill to other continents?
