Hello all,

I recently bought a video card for my AGP motherboard, a Ati

radeon 2600 HD Pro.

Before, my computer was working normally even if I leave it on

24hrs. Till I put the new video card, all the component such as

the power supply, mobo, ram and the video card rouse in

temperature. Also, when I leave it turned on for about 5-6hrs

it appears a sound same as when turn off the computer, but it

doesnt turn off; however, it freezes for a moment and resumes.

Can anyone explain me why this happen?

Thanks in advance

Well it could be the extra heat output by the graphics card that's causing your temp increases, and the shutting off could be something to do with your suspend settings either in Windows or the bios, you should check that out and maybe get yourself another case fan.
